Recent updates to University Center meeting room computers have improved ease of access to shared drives widely used in Student Affairs.
Once a user is logged on to the computer using their abc123 credentials and passphrase, he or she can access the “S:” and “I:” drives by clicking on the “Go” menu at the top navigation bar and then selecting “Connect to Server.” Both drives have pre-loaded shortcuts on the “Connect to Server” pop-up window. Select the drive you need and then navigate to the desired files.
Access to these drives is still dependent on permissions linked to an employee’s network account profile. Users who should be able to access these drives but cannot should will need to verify network account settings with the Office of Information Technology through OIT Connect.
