The University Center invites all students to take a break from studying and final exams for some tasty snacks and a free chair massage in the UC Window Lounge from Monday, May 6 through Friday, May 10, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Massages are available on a first come, first served basis and will end promptly at 1:30 each day. Students can also enjoy giveaways and information regarding end-of-semester services from the Campus Technology Store, Frost Bank, The UPS store in the UC, and The Princeton Review. Snacks and giveaways will be available while supplies last.
“We wanted to give back to our students, and providing some snacks and open study spaces seemed like the best way to show our appreciation for all that students do to support our facility,” said Herb Ganey, interim director of the UC.
Open study rooms will be available from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Sundays from May 2 – 11 unless previously scheduled for an event or meeting. Study rooms that were previously booked for a meeting will have signs posted indicating they are temporarily unavailable. The following meeting rooms will be open for study use:

UC administration hopes as many students as possible can take advantage of this study space at this busy time of year. To ensure everyone has a pleasant experience, everyone using the study rooms is asked to follow a few guidelines:
- Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Rooms will not be locked to hold your items if you choose to leave a room.
- Be respectful of others using the study room.
- Remove your trash and replace chairs at the end of your study session.
