UC Advisory Council Seeks New Members

The University Center (UC) is looking for new student representatives to fill positions on the UC Advisory Council–a student-led, volunteer organization that approves the University Center budget and provides ongoing input regarding the UC and its services.

Applications are now being accepted for undergraduate and graduate student body representative positions. Interested applicants can pick up an application in person from Annie Maynes at the UC Administration Office (UC 1.02.04) or download the application PDF here. Applications are due to by Friday, May 2, 2013 at 4 p.m. at the UC Administration Office or by e-mail at annie.maynes@utsa.edu.

The UC Advisory Council is composed of seven (7) currently enrolled, full-time students (both undergraduate and graduate) and two (2) faculty members. Members represent the general student body as well as Housing & Residence Life, the Student Government Association, and UC student employees. The UC Director, Associate Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students and a UC staff member serve on the council as non-voting members. The council meets regularly throughout the academic year.
