The UPS Store Helps for the Holidays

If you are traveling or sending gifts this holiday season, The UPS Store located in the University Center (UC) encourages you not to miss your holiday fun time by leaving the packing and shipping to its expert staff.

“The holidays are busy for everyone,” said Denns  Peak, owner of The UPS Store in the UC. “We can help you get your items to their location and get you back to your day quickly and efficiently.  Remember to shop early and ship early.”

Items packaged and shipped by The UPS Store benefit from The UPS Store’s Pack & Ship Guarantee, which reimburses you if your items are damaged or lost in transit.   The deadlines for mailing packages to APO and FPO’s are Dec 1 for Parcel Post and Dec 8th for  Priority Mail.  UPS will guarantee delivery up until Dec 23rd via Next Day Air service within the US.

Those who are traveling don’t have to get caught at the airport with overweight or extra baggage. Guests can ship their items in a UPS luggage box, pack and ship their suitcase in a box or ship their suitcase as is. Dimensions and guidelines can be found on The UPS Store’s Luggage Box Information Sheet.

“We are also available to help with invitations, holiday cards or any holiday printing need,” Peak said.  “Come by to see how we can help you and avoid the long lines off campus.”

The UPS Store is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. They can be reached at or 210-458-4945.
