Event Showcase Wrap-up and Giveaway!

Back in March, the Office of Events Management & Conference Services sponsored an event showcase to highlight the newly renovated Denman Ballroom. Bisli Event Services provided linens and centerpieces, and UC Operations staff demonstrated dynamic new lighting features. With the right lighting and décor items, the Denman Ballroom is a perfect venue for wedding receptions, awards banquets, corporate dinners, or induction ceremonies.

Many vendors were on hand to explain their event-related services. Caterers from UTSA’s approved catering list provided sample menu items. The UPS Store in the UC, area hotels, and a photographer were also available to discuss available services with guests. Check out photos of the showcase below.

Although many of you were not able to attend, we still want you to be able to experience the fun. While at the showcase, Fresh Horizons Creative Catering offered a door prize for a drawing exclusively for faculty and staff UCNewsBlog readers. This Fresh Horizons Gift Certificate (valued at $25.00) is good for four executive box lunches (lunch includes 1 sandwich, 2 salads, and a brownie or cookie). The certificate expires September 30, 2012 and requires 48-hour advanced notice to order.

To enter in the drawing, please e-mail UCInfo@utsa.edu. The winner will be randomly selected via Random.org. To be considered all entries must be submitted by Friday, June 8 at 12 p.m.
