The University Center and Frost Bank invite UTSA faculty and staff to a UC Lunch and Learn Seminar: Preventing Identity Theft, from noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 9 in the University Center Mesquite Room (2.01.24) on the Main Campus. This seminar will feature a discussion on identity theft issues and prevention from a Frost Bank fraud management expert.
The speaker for the event, Sandy Sullivan, is the senior vice president of fraud management with Frost National Bank. Mrs. Sullivan, a 39-year Frost Bank veteran, has served the last 21 years as the statewide liaison in external fraud matters concerning forgery, counterfeit checks, alterations, embezzlement, identity theft, and elder fraud.
She chairs the San Antonio Clearing House Loss Avoidance Committee and is a member of the San Antonio Chapter of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Fraud Investigators Association of Texas (FIAT). She also is a founding member of the Bexar County Elder Fraud Task Force and is on the board of directors for the San Antonio Crime Stoppers.
