Effective 8/22/2011, all unattended publications in the UC will be be distributed from one of 3 distribution bins within the University Center.
What does this mean for you? Basically you know have three centralized locations at convenient locations throughout the UC to pick up publications like The Paisanio, UTSA’s independent student newspaper, complimentary copies of USA Today provided by the UC, and any other publications that have received permission to have unattended distribution on campus.
Here are some pictures of these distribution bins along with a list of their locations:
- UC South Star Galleria: inside the entrance by Subway, near the elevator
- UC Food Court: near the sliding door entrance
- UC North Corridor: near the UC Paseo entrance
Bringing all publications together in these three locations will help us maintain a clean and organized facility. Guests will also now be able to easily find all publications that are available in the UC instead of having to go to different locations.
Approval for publications distribution on campus is managed by the Office of the Vice President for Business Affairs and the UTSA HOP. You can read the full policy, which references these policies, in our UC operations manual online.
